Over the last 20 years, the AIDS epidemic has killed more than a million parents in Uganda, leaving 1.5 million innocent children behind.  Of those, many have been taken in by extended family and caring people, but there are still some 880,000 kids have no one to care for them. Surviving as child-headed families, they struggle every day for food and shelter.  School is out of the question.  Every day is about living one more day.  Nothing more.  The future holds only despair, crime, sickness and an early grave.
For one dollar, you can save their lives.
Yes, a dollar.  It is the goal of this project to inspire young people, missions organizations, churches, schools and businesses around the world to hold fund-raising events - to gather $1.00 from each participant - and send it to us so we can rescue those most in need.  We are Juna Amagara Ministries - saving the lives of AIDS orphans in Uganda (www.amagara.org)  With these funds we can educate, inspire and train Ugandan youth to solve the AIDS problem in Uganda and throughout Africa.
